Business Operations Coordinator

Robert Half is currently looking for a Business Operations Coordinator (m/f/x).

The company is located in Brussels and this is a full-time position within an international company active in the construction materials industry.

Your responsibilities as a Business Operations Coordinator will include:

• Organising the transportation of construction materials by road and inland waterways;
• Coordinating daily logistics flows between production sites, carriers and customers;
• Monitoring deliveries and proactively anticipating operational issues;
• Receiving, processing and following up on customer orders;
• Acting as the main point of contact for customers and partners across the Benelux, Germany and France;
• Resolving customer queries and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction;
• Supporting commercial activities, including CRM updates and prospecting follow-up;
• Managing commercial and logistics administration;
• Preparing customer invoicing and checking supplier invoices;
• Maintaining accurate customer, supplier and carrier databases;
• Preparing regular operational reports.

The required qualifications for this Business Operations Coordinator position are:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration or a related field is preferred;
• Initial experience in logistics, supply chain or B2B customer service;
• Experience within the construction materials industry is considered an asset;
• Excellent command of Dutch and French, with a good knowledge of English;
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously;
• Proactive, solution-oriented and customer-focused mindset;
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams).
