Senior Accountant in Charleroi - Industry sector

Our client is a rapidly growing international company operating in a highly innovative and industrial environment. Following significant growth and ambitious development projects, the Finance team continues to expand and is looking for a Senior Accountant to strengthen its operations.

Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will join a growing finance team and play a key role in ensuring the reliability of the accounting function for the group's main Belgian entities.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the full accounting cycle from A to Z for the group's key Belgian entities;
• Participating in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings in compliance with Belgian GAAP;
• Preparing reconciliations, accruals, provisions, and financial reporting schedules;
• Supporting audit processes and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information;
• Collaborating closely with Business Controllers and operational teams in a project-driven environment;
• Contributing to the implementation and optimisation of accounting processes, controls, and reporting tools;
• Supporting consolidation and group reporting activities when required;
• Acting as a key finance partner in a fast-growing organisation undergoing continuous transformation;

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
• Several years of accounting experience, ideally gained within an international, industrial, project-based, or fast-growing environment;
• Strong knowledge of Belgian GAAP is essential;
• Experience managing accounting activities independently and operating in a dynamic environment;
• Comfortable working with evolving processes and taking ownership of responsibilities;
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
• Proactive, hands-on, and solution-oriented mindset;
• Fluent in French and/or English;
