Expression of Interest: Senior Purchaser

Are you an experienced procurement professional looking to make an impact in a dynamic international aviation environment? As a Senior Purchaser, you will play a key role in ensuring the availability of critical parts and materials that keep our helicopter operations running safely and efficiently worldwide.

Acting as the link between operational departments and our supplier network, you will balance urgent operational requirements with commercial performance, supply continuity, quality, lead times and cost efficiency. In addition to day-to-day purchasing activities, you will help drive continuous improvement across our procurement processes, supplier strategies and supply chain performance.

Your responsibilities include:

• Managing strategically important supplier relationships and acting as the main point of contact for supplier-related matters.

• Driving supplier performance improvements focused on service levels, lead times, cost efficiency and overall performance.

• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to resolve supplier performance issues and ensure continuity of supply.

• Managing procurement activities, purchase orders and supplier agreements while ensuring compliance with agreed terms.

• Monitoring open purchase orders and proactively following up to avoid operational delays.

• Maintaining accurate purchasing records and ERP system data.

• Providing support for Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations and participating in the on-call rotation approximately every 4 to 5 weeks.

• Acting quickly on urgent procurement requests to minimize aircraft downtime.

• Supporting the development of procurement processes, supplier strategies and supply chain initiatives.

• Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, supplier performance and cost control across the organization.

We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded procurement professional who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment and enjoys building strong supplier relationships.

You bring:

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent through experience.

• Previous experience in a purchasing role.

• Experience working with ERP systems such as Navision or SAP.

• Strong negotiation and influencing skills.

• Professional proficiency in English; French is considered an advantage.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Good IT skills and digital literacy.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• The ability to remain flexible and resilient under pressure.

• A collaborative approach and the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
