Freelance Marketing & BD Specialist

Our client is a leading international law firm with offices across Europe, the Middle East, Asia-Pacific and North America. The Brussels office counts approximately 85 professionals and works closely with the firm's international network, particularly the London headquarters. To strengthen its local Marketing & Business Development activities, they are looking for a hands-on Freelance Marketing & Business Development Specialist.

As a Freelance Marketing & Business Development Specialist. your responsibilities are:

• Partner with lawyers to identify and support Business Development opportunities ;
• Prepare and coordinate pitches, proposals and client presentations ;
• Develop and manage the Belgian LinkedIn presence in collaboration with the international communications team ;
• Organize seminars, webinars, networking events and client-facing initiatives ;
• Support sponsorship activities and relationship-building events ;
• Manage the local marketing budget ;
• Support branding, communication and business development projects for the Belgian office ;

A successful Freelance Marketing & Business Development Specialist should have:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or equivalent experience ;
• 5+ years of experience in Marketing and Business Development within a professional services environment (legal, consulting, audit, financial services, etc.) ;
• Experience supporting senior stakeholders with commercial and marketing initiatives ;
• Strong project management and organizational skills ;
• Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to create compelling client-facing content ;
• Experience organizing client events, seminars and marketing campaigns ;
• Excellent English is essential; French and Dutch are considered strong assets
