Financial Controller

We’re looking for a financial controller for a partner of ours located in Brussels area. He or she will be responsible for the financial reporting, interpret financial statements and diagnose the sources of high or low performance to interpret data on an independent way or together with other controllers.

• Financial reporting: preparation and analysis of financial statements budget vs actual, forecasting (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow).
• Read and interpret financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, statement of stockholder’s equity and statement of cash flow)
• Diagnose the sources of high or low performance to interpret financial data (budget and actual figures)
• Reporting conclusions effectively in oral and written form
• Planning and control: Use planning, measurement, reporting, and ad hoc analysis that provide senior executives with a comprehensive picture of both current and future performance required to manage their businesses.
• Work together with other controllers, risk and -program manager to develop as many creative and innovative solutions as possible in response to problems, issues or questions.

• Experienced in the areas of planning, forecasting, and budgeting
• Excellent understanding of Financial Accounting and Financial statement Analysis
• Outstanding analytical skills but also a "big picture” approach
• Highly interactive and social, empathy for others, and self-confidence
• Strong Communication Skills and people skills
• Ability to learn fast and acute intellectual curiosity
• Profound knowledge of SAP, SAP BPC and BW
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office Excel
• Languages: Dutch - French - English
