Hippocampus Logistics BV is a rapidly growing logistics service provider based in Hoogstraten, Belgium. We specialize in warehousing, fulfillment, transportation coordination, and customs support for customers across Europe and beyond.

To strengthen our operations team, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Coordinator.

Job Description

As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating daily warehouse activities, ensuring efficient inventory management, and supporting smooth inbound and outbound logistics operations. You will act as a key link between warehouse staff, customers, transport providers, and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Monitor inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely processing.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform stock reconciliations.
• Process warehouse transactions in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Prepare and follow up warehouse schedules and operational planning.
• Communicate with customers, carriers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Support customs and logistics documentation processes.
• Investigate and resolve operational discrepancies and inventory issues.
• Monitor operational KPIs and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company safety, quality, and operational procedures.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with WMS and ERP systems is an advantage.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good in English or Dutch
• Knowledge of Chinese is considered a plus.
