Environmental Health & Safety Advisor - Healthcare - part-time

Our client is a global healthcare technology organization operating in a highly regulated and mission-driven environment. They are looking for an EHS Specialist to support employees across Belgium and the wider Benelux region. Acting as Prevention Advisor, you will ensure compliance, promote a strong safety culture, and bridge corporate EHS standards with local regulatory requirements.

• Act as Prevention Advisor for the Belgian commercial organization
• Conduct workplace and task-specific risk assessments
• Implement and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs
• Lead initiatives related to ergonomics, driver safety, fire safety, PPE, and employee health
• Manage biological, chemical, and ionising radiation safety programs
• Investigate incidents and perform root cause analyses
• Support internal audits and implement corrective actions
• Deliver EHS training, communication, and awareness initiatives

• Prevention Advisor certification
• Minimum 2 years of EHS experience
• Minimum 2 years of Prevention Advisor experience
• Strong knowledge of Belgian health & safety legislation
• Experience with risk assessments and compliance programs
• Skilled in incident investigations and corrective action management
• Comfortable delivering presentations and training sessions
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Fluent in Dutch and English, French is a strong asset
• Organized, proactive, autonomous, and a strong relationship builder
