DigiTribe - Project Manager Risk Manager

Our client, a major player in the Belgian financial services sector, is looking for an experienced Project Manager to drive forward a strategic action plan aimed at strengthening risk culture across the organization. The role sits at the intersection of governance, risk management, and IT, and requires someone comfortable coordinating stakeholders across business and technical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end management of the action plan: planning, tracking, reporting, and stakeholder alignment
• Coordinate with business, risk, compliance, and IT stakeholders to ensure initiatives are implemented on time and within scope
• Translate risk culture objectives into concrete, actionable workstreams
• Monitor progress against KPIs and prepare steering committee reporting
• Identify risks and roadblocks in execution and propose mitigation actions
• Ensure alignment with the bank's broader risk management framework and regulatory expectations
• Act as a bridge between risk/business teams and IT teams on risk-related technology initiatives

Nice to have

• Familiarity with risk culture frameworks or change management methodologies
• Prior experience in a similar action-plan / transformation program

• 5+ years of experience in project management within the banking or financial services sector
• Solid understanding of risk management (operational, non-financial, or IT risk)
• Experience working on IT risk topics or IT-related risk projects is a strong plus
• Strong stakeholder management skills, comfortable engaging with senior business and IT stakeholders
• Excellent organizational and reporting skills; structured, autonomous, and results-driven
• Fluent in French and/or Dutch, with good working English
• PMP, Prince2, or similar certification is an asset
