Tax specialist - Brussels - International Company

Our client is an international player and global leader within their segment of the market. They are currently expanding and reorganizing their finance team to adapt their recent growth.

As a Tax Specialist you will be responsible for:

• Manage monthly VAT filings, Intrastat and statistical declarations (BE FR and LUX)
• Oversee quarterly VAT calculations
• Ensure accurate corporate tax provisions
• Prepare corporate tax returns, transfer pricing and client listings
• Support Pillar 2 compliance and contribute to management reporting
• Contribute to tax performance analysis
• Conduct preventive tax audits and proactively identify risks
• Act as primary point of contact for tax-related queries
• Lead and support tax projects
• Validate and improve invoice flows, profit split mechanisms, and tax controls
• Collaborate with international tax specialists to ensure alignment and compliance

The ideal candidate matches the following criteria:

• Fluent in English and good command of French or Dutch
• Strong expertise in corporate tax and indirect tax (VAT)
• Proven ability to execute operational tax tasks, not only advise
• Hands-on mindset with attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience in international and cross-border tax environments
• Ability to manage multiple compliance cycles (monthly, quarterly, annual)
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder and cross-country coordination
