Application Analyst / Project Manager

Our client is a fast-growing Belgian company operating in the food industry. To support its continued growth and digital transformation, we are currently looking for an Application Analyst / Project Manager to strengthen their IT Applications team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional who enjoys working closely with end users, optimizing business applications, and contributing to the continuous improvement of business processes.

As an Application Analyst / Project Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of the company's business applications.

Acting as the first point of contact for application-related issues, you will support users, coordinate improvements, and contribute to the evolution of the organization's application landscape:

• Manage and maintain business applications.
• Follow up on change requests, software updates, and application improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to reporting, data management, and process optimization projects.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners across multiple sites.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the IT applications environment.
• Provide first-line support to internal users for business applications.
• Analyze and resolve application-related incidents, escalating where necessary.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent through experience.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in application support, application management, functional analysis, or a similar role.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (FSCM) and/or Navision is considered a strong asset.
• Experience with or interest in Power BI, reporting solutions, and EDI/API integrations is a plus.
• Service-oriented mindset with a genuine willingness to help end users.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, hands-on, and capable of taking ownership.
• Team player with excellent communication skills.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
