Elevator Service Engineer

Are you an expert in elevator technology with a passion for troubleshooting? Do you enjoy working independently and managing your own service route? We are looking for an experienced Service Technician (Elevators) to join our professional team in the East and West Flanders regions.

As a Senior Service Technician, you are the technical face of the company. You will be responsible for the safety, reliability, and optimal performance of a diverse portfolio of lift installations.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance & Inspection: Perform periodic preventive maintenance according to safety standards and regulations.
• Diagnostics & Fault-finding: Identify and resolve complex mechanical and electrical malfunctions independently.
• Repairs: Execute necessary repairs and replace worn or damaged components.
• Technical Reporting: Document your work clearly and advise clients on necessary upgrades or preventive measures.
• Safety: Ensure all work is carried out according to the strictest safety protocols.

• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in elevator maintenance and troubleshooting is mandatory.
• Education: A technical degree in Electromechanics, Electricity, or Maintenance Technology (or equivalent through experience).
• Independence: Ability to work autonomously "on the road" with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Languages: Fluent in English and/or Dutch.
• Certifications: * Valid Driver’s License B (mandatory).
  • VCA certification is a major plus.
  • BA5 (Competent person for electrical installations) is highly preferred.
• Soft Skills: Customer-oriented, problem-solver, and flexible mindset.
