Cybersecurity Engineer | Technical Ownership & Leadership

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Engineerready to combine hands-on expertise with technical leadership. You'll have the opportunity to take ownership of security projects, guide improvements and progressively become a go-to expert within the organisation.

• Lead security initiativesby driving the implementation and continuous improvement of cybersecurity measures.
• Assess and mitigate risksby identifying security gaps, evaluating threats and coordinating appropriate remediation actions.
• Improve security controlsacross IT systems, infrastructure and business processes.
• Drive security standards and best practices, contributing to policies, procedures and compliance initiatives.
• Coordinate with IT and business stakeholdersto turn security requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Take technical ownershipof key security topics, influence decisions and help shape the organisation's cybersecurity roadmap.

• Experience incybersecurity, information security engineering or IT security.
• Solid understanding ofsecurity controls, risk assessment and infrastructure security.
• Familiarity withISO 27001, security governance or regulatory complianceis a plus.
• Ability tolead technical initiatives, coordinate stakeholders and take ownership of complex topics.
• A hands-on, solution-oriented mindset combined with the ambition toinfluence strategy and mentor others.
• Fluency inEnglish and Dutch, French is considered an asset.
