International Key Account Manager - Chemical & Gases

Our client operates within a specialized industrial market supplying technical products to customers across multiple international regions. The organization combines the agility of a focused business unit with the resources and stability of a larger international group.

As a successful international Key Account Manager / Business Development - Chemical, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Develop market strategies to grow sales, profitability and market share across assigned international territories (mainly in Europe)
• Develop long-term relationships with distributors, customers and key accounts in the pharma industry, food industry, medical devices industry & hospitals
• Identify new business opportunities through market analysis and prospecting
• Negotiate commercial agreements and contractual terms
• Provide technical and commercial support throughout the sales cycle to boost consumer services
• Collaborate internally with operations, logistics, SHEQ and finance teams
• Support budgeting, forecasting and commercial reporting activities
• Represent the business at customer meetings, site visits and industry events

As a successful international Key Account Manager / Business Development - Chemical, you will have the following profile:

• Master's degree in Chemistry, Business Administration ...or equivalent experience
• 5 years of experiences in B2B sales with chemical or industry sector
• Experience in industrial, technical, chemical, process, manufacturing or industrial gases environments
• Fluent in Dutch and English
• Proven negotiation and key account management skills
• Commercially driven with a hands-on mindset
• Comfortable managing long sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
• Adaptable, autonomous and eager to learn technical products
• Willing to travel internationally (approximately 25-30%)
