Position summary

We are looking for an experienced Software Developer to join one of our clients' development teams, contributing to applications that support business operations.
You will work with C# and .NET, combining hands-on development with functional analysis and technical problem-solving. You will help translate business requirements into reliable software, contribute to development practices and provide guidance to junior colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and improve software applications using C# and .NET.
  
• Analyse functional requirements and translate them into detailed development tasks and technical solutions.
  
• Design and work with relational databases using SQL Server.
  
• Use Entity Framework Core to support application data access.
  
• Apply asynchronous programming, dependency injection and inversion of control where appropriate.
  
• Help maintain application stability, quality and performance.
  
• Support junior developers by sharing technical knowledge and helping resolve development challenges.
  
• Evaluate relevant technologies and contribute to improvements in development standards and practices.
  
• Collaborate with colleagues throughout analysis, implementation and ongoing application improvement.
  

Must-have skills:

• At least five years of relevant experience in software development.
  
• A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related discipline.
  
• Strong practical experience with C# and .NET.
  
• A solid understanding of async/await, dependency injection and inversion of control.
  
• Knowledge of relational database design and SQL Server.
  
• Experience with Entity Framework Core.
  
• A careful approach to software development, with attention to reliability, maintainability and performance.
