Key Account Manager - FMCG sector

A leading international food manufacturer which operates in a fast-moving consumer goods environment and manages a portfolio of well-known consumer brands with strong market recognition.The organization places a strong emphasis on sustainability, quality, and consumer-centric strategies.In Belgium, it collaborates closely with major retailers, distributors, and foodservice partners to strengthen its market presence.

The Key Account Manager FMCG will be in charge of the following responsibilities :

• Manage and develop relationships with major retail and strategic accounts.
• Lead the negotiation of annual agreements, pricing, promotional plans, and commercial terms.
• Build and implement joint business plans to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share objectives.
• Identify growth opportunities and develop account-specific strategies to maximize performance.
• Monitor sales performance, customer profitability, and category trends through data-driven analysis.
• Forecast sales accurately and manage account budgets effectively.
• Conduct regular business reviews with customers and present recommendations to drive growth.
• Track competitor activity, market developments, and consumer trends to inform commercial decisions.

• At least 3 years of experience in Key Account Management, Category management, Trade Marketing or Customer Development within FMCG sector.
• Excellent negotiation, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
• Highly results-oriented with a proactive and entrepreneurial approach.
• Fluent in French or Dutch with a good comprehension of the other national language. English mandatory.
