Randstad Digital - C++ / Full Stack Developer

About the role

As a Senior Software Developer, you will join an environment with a rich history. You will work on existing (legacy) applications while being given the space and responsibility to proactively brainstorm and implement modernizations and improvements.

You will work in a hybrid model with a physical presence 2 days a week on-site

• 1 day per week: Leuven
  
• 1 day per week: Louvain-la-Neuve (Boulevard de l'Europe 131, 1300 Wavre)
  
• Remaining days: Remote / Flexible
  

Must-haves (core knowledge)

• Languages & Frameworks: Strong knowledge of C++, C# .NET, JavaScript, and HTML.
  
• Databases: Experience with MS SQL, Oracle, and SQL Migrations
  
• Architecture & Integration: Knowledge of RESTful web services and message bus architectures (e.g., Hangfire or RabbitMQ)
  
• Language Skills: Fluency/strong knowledge of French is essential due to team interaction and the Louvain-la-Neuve location. Dutch is also a major asset
  
• Mindset: Pragmatic, proactive, and comfortable working in legacy IT environments. You know how to maintain stability while driving innovation
  

Nice-to-haves (bonus points)

• Frontend frameworks such as React or Angular
  
• Experience with WPF
  
• Knowledge of Build Automation (CI/CD pipelines with TeamCity)
  
• Basic IT infrastructure knowledge: Windows Server, Active Directory (AD), and Azure
