Job Description & Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Production Technician to join our microbial production team. In this role, you will play a key part in producing beneficial microorganisms used in biostimulant, biocontrol, and biofertilizer products that support healthy crop growth. Training will be provided, so prior microbiology experience is not required — though it's a plus. Curiosity and attention to detail matter most.

Your tasks:

• You independently carry out production tasks according to standard procedures: you prepare supplies, sterilize, inoculate, harvest and handle downstream processing.
• You work under sterile conditions and strictly follow hygiene and sterility protocols, giving contamination no chance.
• You safeguard product quality at every stage by performing in-process quality and sterility checks.
• You help with downstream processing and carry out quantification checks as part of the final quality control.
• You actively contribute to continuous improvement (TPM) and help find solutions when problems arise.

• You have a technical or scientific background: a secondary school diploma, an associate degree (graduaat) or equivalent practical experience.
• You enjoy steady, hands-on work and feel right at home in it.
• You understand the basics of microbiology: you know what bacteria and fungi are and how contamination occurs, and you're interested in sterility and hygiene.
• Repetitive tasks don't put you off: you stay focused and precise, even over long periods.
• You can stand for extended periods and regularly lift and carry moderate loads without difficulty.
• Have you worked with an ELN (Electronic Lab Notebook) before? That's a plus, but we'll train you either way.
• You're responsible, reliable and a true team player, and safety and hygiene in the workplace come naturally to you.
• You speak and write both Dutch and English fluently.
