Junior HR Business Partner (Hard HR)

As part of the HR team, you will play a key role in supporting managers and employees on all operational and administrative HR matters. You will act as the first point of contact for Hard HR topics, ensuring compliance with local labour legislation, accuracy of HR data, and smooth execution of HR processes throughout the employee lifecycle.

Employee Lifecycle Management

• Manage and coordinate all administrative HR processes from onboarding to offboarding.
• Prepare employment contracts, contract amendments, and other employment-related documents.
• Follow up on employee movements, including promotions, transfers, changes in working time, and organizational changes.

Payroll & Compensation Administration

• Act as the main point of contact for payroll administration and collaborate closely with the payroll provider.
• Follow up on absences, leave requests, time registration, and benefits administration.
• Support compensation and benefits administration and related documentation.

Labor Law & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with Belgian labour legislation, collective labour agreements, and internal policies.
• Monitor legislative changes and support the implementation of required updates.
• Provide first-line guidance to managers and employees on contractual and administrative HR matters.

HR Operations & Data Management

• Maintain accurate employee data in HR systems (Workday and other HR tools).
• Ensure data quality, reporting accuracy, and compliance with GDPR requirements.
• Create and maintain HR procedures, policies, templates, and documentation.

Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and administrative efficiency.
• Support the digitalization and automation of HR activities.

Contribute to HR projects related to compliance, employee administration, and operational excellence.

• Master's degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, Payroll Administration or a related field
• Fluent in Dutch and French, both written and spoken; good command of English
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in an HR generalist, HR operations or payroll-related role
• Good knowledge of local legislation (knowledge of Luxembourg legislation is a plus)
• Good knowledge of Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Power point)
• Knowledge of Workday is a plus
