Injection Moulding Technician – 2 Shifts

This international company specializes in the production and supply of plastic components for the automotive industry, including injection-moulded parts for vehicles.

For an international manufacturing company in the Aalst region, we are looking for a Maintenance Technician to help ensure the optimal operation of an advanced machine park.

You will work in a two-shift system:

• Early shift: 06:00–14:00
• Late shift: 14:00–22:00

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and improving industrial machinery and technical installations. Thanks to your expertise, production processes remain reliable and downtime is kept to a minimum.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Carrying out preventive maintenance on production machines, injection moulding machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults.
• Carrying out corrective repairs in the event of technical breakdowns.
• Analysing faults and looking for sustainable solutions.
• Independently carrying out small technical projects and improvements.
• Actively contributing to optimizations aimed at increasing the reliability and efficiency of the machine park.
• Working closely with the production department to minimize downtime.
• Working according to applicable safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Helping to maintain a clean, safe and well-organized working environment.

You have a strong technical background and enjoy working hands-on.

In addition, you have:

• A technical qualification in Electromechanics, Electrical Engineering, Automation or a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in the maintenance and repair of industrial machinery.
• Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance in a production environment.
• Basic knowledge of PLC control systems is an advantage. If you have limited experience in this area, you will have the opportunity to develop this knowledge internally.
• Experience with injection moulding machines is an advantage, but is not required.
• A good command of Dutch.
• The ability to understand technical documentation in English and/or German.
• Strong analytical skills and a solution-oriented approach.
• A hands-on mentality and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Good team spirit combined with the ability to carry out interventions independently.
