To strengthen our team, we are currently looking for a Senior Check Point Administrator for a long-term project in Diegem.

Role

• As a Senior Check Point Administrator, you will join the network and security team and take ownership of a large-scale enterprise Check Point environment.
• You will provide expert-level support for deployments, upgrades, architecture, and operational management while helping the internal team build the knowledge required to independently manage the platform in the future.
• Manage and maintain a complex enterprise Check Point security environment
• Support deployment, migration, and upgrade projects
• Administer and optimize Check Point Firewall R81 infrastructures
• Manage and maintain Check Point Maestro environments
• Design and implement secure network and Firewall architectures
• Provide expert advice on network security best practices
• Troubleshoot complex Firewall and network security incidents
• Lead infrastructure and security-related projects
• Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
• Transfer knowledge and coach internal teams on Check Point technologies
• Work closely with infrastructure, networking, and security stakeholders
• Contribute to the long-term evolution of the organization's security landscape
• Ensure stability, performance, and scalability of the Firewall environment

• Proven experience as a Senior Check Point Administrator, Security Engineer, or similar role
• Extensive and recent hands-on experience with Check Point Firewall R81
• Deep expertise in Check Point Maestro
• Strong experience with Firewall deployments, upgrades, migrations, and day-to-day administration
• Solid knowledge of enterprise networking and network security principles
• Experience designing and implementing security architectures
• Ability to independently manage and support a complete Check Point environment
• Strong troubleshooting skills in complex enterprise infrastructures
• Experience creating technical documentation and operational procedures
• Ability to coach and transfer knowledge to internal teams
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Professional working proficiency in English for meetings and presentations
• Motivated, proactive, and capable of taking ownership of responsibilities

Important:
This position requires recent and extensive hands-on experience with Check Point technologies. Candidates with only historical or limited exposure to Check Point products, or experience primarily focused on other Firewall vendors such as Palo Alto or Fortinet, will not be considered suitable for this role.
