Head of Communications - NGO

Our client is a well-established, renowned non-profit advocacy organization with a long-standing commitment to its core mission.They focus on raising public awareness, influencing policy, and driving meaningful change to advance welfare and rights.

As Head of Communications, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Mix of strategic planning and hands-on execution, including planning major campaigns while managing daily communication activities.
• Direct involvement in content creation (press releases, social media copy, newsletters, campaigns).
• Oversight of all communication channels (website, social media, newsletters, print), with internal coordination across functions.
• Team management
• Regular collaboration with external agencies and partners.
• Strong focus on creativity and innovation, combined with agency-driven input.
• Budget management.
• Fast-paced, reactive environment requiring also reporting and performance tracking.

• At least 3 years of professional experience in a marketing position
• Able to manage projects, budgets, and teams (leadership and teamwork skills)
• Strong command of digital marketing tools, web analytics, and marketing techniques
• Knowledge of various marketing channels (social media, press relations, advertising, etc.) and how to use them effectively depending on the target audience
• Excellent writing skills
• Fluent in Dutch & French mandatory, with good command of English
