Senior Functional Analyst

Our partner, a key player in the personal Data security domain, is looking for a Senior Functional Analyst to reinforce their team.

You’ll be part of a mature agile team working on next-generation digital and transactional solutions. The ideal candidate can not only translate business needs into clear functional requirements, but also collaborate closely with the IT team to guide implementation and ensure functional coherence.

• Playing a key role in functional analysis, identifying, detailing, and documenting business needs
• Supporting your IT colleagues by handing over well-defined functional designs and being available throughout the implementation process
• Working in a technically rich environment based on Java, with a strong focus on microservices, API integration, and data modelling
• Using tools like JIRA and Confluence to manage requirements and documentation within an agile delivery model
• Collaborating with developers, testers, and architects to ensure future-proof and scalable solutions
• This is a long-term assignment with a hybrid work model. The client offers a stable, structured environment with room for proactive input and ownership.

• At least 5 years of relevant experience as a Functional Analyst
• A solid IT background – you understand how systems are built and work
• Experience in Java based environments is a big plus.
• Hands-on knowledge of API testing (Postman), microservice design, and basic data modelling
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to align business and technical stakeholders
