As a butcher in our wholesale department, you are responsible for expertly processing quality meat for professional customers in Belgium and abroad. You work precisely and efficiently in a modern production environment where craftsmanship is key. Your duties include deboning, cutting, and portioning beef, pork, lamb, and poultry to the specified weights and customer requirements. You also prepare ground meats and charcuterie, conduct quality checks, and ensure products are packaged and labeled correctly.

A typical workday starts early in the morning. You begin at 6:00 am with your close-knit team. Your responsibilities include deboning, cutting, and weighing meat, always paying attention to detail and quality. You follow strict procedures to guarantee food safety and contribute to a smooth production flow. During lunch, you and your colleagues enjoy our house-made meat products, and you finish your workday by 2:00 pm.

• Thorough knowledge of the complete breakdown and deboning of a beef carcass (very important)
• Skilled at cutting to weight and deboning meat
• Precise and efficient work ethic with a keen eye for detail and quality
• Motivated, reliable, and takes initiative
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good command of English and willing to learn Dutch
• Willing to work occasionally on Saturdays if needed
• Completed lower or higher secondary education
• At least 2 years of experience as a butcher (5–10 years or more is a plus)
