Technician 2 shifts

You will work in Ninove, in a modern and highly automated environment specialized in logistics automation and automated warehouse systems.

The company develops, integrates and maintains automation solutions that help warehouses, production environments and distribution centers operate more efficiently.

For an internationally active company specialized in automated warehouse systems and logistics automation, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Automation Technician / PLC Technician to join the permanent night shift team.

You will ensure that highly automated warehouse and logistics systems continue to operate efficiently and reliably.

As an Automation Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of automated installations.

Your responsibilities:

• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on complex automated installations.
• Diagnosing and resolving technical faults and breakdowns.
• Troubleshooting issues in electrical, mechanical and automated systems.
• Working with PLC controls, sensors, motors and SCADA systems.
• Ensuring that automated warehouse installations operate safely and efficiently.
• Carrying out technical interventions independently and identifying the root cause of malfunctions.
• Recording maintenance activities and interventions correctly in the CMMS system (Sprocket).
• Working independently during the permanent night shift, while consulting colleagues when necessary.
• Contributing to the safety, reliability and efficiency of the installations.

• A technical degree in electromechanics, electricity, automation and/or mechanics.
• Several years of experience as an Automation Technician, Maintenance Technician, Service Technician, Troubleshooting Technician or PLC Technician.
• Basic knowledge of industrial automation and PLC systems.
• Knowledge of sensors, motors, electrical components and technical installations.
• Experience with or an interest in SCADA and CMMS systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive, independent and accurate working attitude.
• A good command of Dutch and/or English.
• No fear of heights, as you may work at different levels within the automated installations.
• Good physical fitness.
• A strong interest in technology and a willingness to continue learning.
• The flexibility and motivation to work in 2 shifts
