Greenhouse Worker - Gavere - Day

We are looking for enthusiastic Garden Workers!

For a client in the Gavere region, specialized in the cultivation of sustainable plants, we are looking for enthusiastic and motivated people with green fingers!

Working hours: 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM

Your responsibilities:

• Assist with sowing, nurturing, and harvesting plants in our growth chamber.
• Help prepare for the field season by counting, sorting, and inoculating seeds.
• Support the sowing and maintenance of field trials.
• Clean seed lots, either using traditional methods or with the help of machines.
• Monitor and maintain the quality of our seeds.

Who are you?

• A plant lover? Check!
• Interested in plant breeding? Double check!
• Do you speak Dutch or English? Perfect!
• Accuracy, organization, and structure are your second nature.
• Flexibility is important: sometimes our plans change depending on the weather or other urgent tasks.
• You have strong communication skills and communicate clearly, smoothly, and respectfully.
• You have your own car, as the location is not easily accessible by public transport.
