Mechanical Design Engineer - Robotics

Join Traxial (A Magnax Company) as a Mechanical Design Engineer – Robotics and help shape compact, high-performance actuators. You'll translate demanding motion requirements into manufacturable mechanical designs.

• Design mechanical solutions for robotic systems, from concept to production.
• Create 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings, applying industry standards and GD&T.
• Perform mechanical calculations and design verification for performance, reliability, and durability.
• Work with suppliers and subcontractors on components, processes, tolerances, materials, and specs.
• Support prototype builds, testing, troubleshooting, and design improvement.

• Master's in Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years designing robotic systems, actuators, or precision motion systems.
• Proficient in Siemens NX, Teamcenter PDM, or similar CAD/PDM tools.
• Able to translate payload, speed, torque, force, power, accuracy, and duty cycle into mechanical design requirements.
• Strong awareness of emerging trends in robotics, actuation, and motion technologies.
• Existing work authorization in Belgium required.
• Team player, creative, can-do mindset, fluent English.
