Consolidation Accountant: International Industrial Environment

Looking for a consolidation role with real international exposure? This industrial group based in the Brussels periphery might be the answer.

Present across several European countries with around a hundred employees on the Belgian site, the group centralises its reporting from Belgium, making the local finance department a key point of contact for all group entities.

The finance team is experienced, the tools are solid and the working environment values both autonomy and technical expertise. The offices are easily accessible by car, with parking available on site.

Your Responsibilities

You take charge of the group's consolidation process and become the reference point for intercompany financial matters. You will report directly to the manager, based in Belgium.

• Preparing and coordinating monthly and annual consolidations in accordance with IFRS standards.
• Producing consolidated reporting for the group and analysing variances.
• Monitoring IFRS developments and adapting processes accordingly.
• Supporting the accounting team during local closings.
• Coordinating with financial controllers from foreign entities and external auditors.
• Contributing to the improvement of consolidation tools and processes.

The Ideal Profile

Education : Master's degree in accounting, finance or equivalent.

Experience : Between 3 and 5 years of experience in consolidation, with a solid command of IFRS standards. Experience in a multi-entity industrial environment is a plus.

Technical skills : Advanced Excel required. Knowledge of a consolidation tool is a serious asset. Comfortable with an ERP such as SAP.

Languages : Fluent Dutch and English are essential - these are the two working languages on a daily basis.
