Rate management specialist

You'll be joining a leading logistics company with global operations and a market leader in their field.
They handle both road/air and ocean freight and are currently looking for a Rate management specialist in the Antwerp branch.

As a Rate Management Specialist, you’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate and efficient pricing processes that power our global operations. You’ll manage customer contracts, tariffs, and costing data across our systems, enabling seamless auto-rating and auto-costing and supporting our journey toward full digitalization.

Your key responsibilities as a Rate Management Specialist:

• Ensure timely and accurate data-input of rates and costs
• Manage automated rate and costing processes, including integration with tools
• Partner closely with commercial and operational teams to understand customer needs and ensure correct and efficient rate implementation.
• Assess local impacts of global customer accounts
• Analyze rate and cost accuracy, identify optimization opportunities, and drive enhancements in automation and digitalization.
• Investigate and resolve system-related issues across rate management platforms, including CW1, RMS, Cargosphere, and other local tools.

The Rate Management Specialist we're looking for has the following profile:

• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
• Experience in Ocean Freight pricing or operations (minimum 2 years)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365
• Fluent English and Dutch
