Using tunnel boring machines, our professionals drill (micro)tunnels with diameters of up to 4 meters over lengths of, for example, 1 km. More information can be found at https://www.k-boringen.com/.

To carry out our drilling projects across Europe, we are looking for motivated, competent employees who have a sense of responsibility and adventure. Our target group consists of workers who are eager to work—especially on-site abroad—who are flexible and skilled in languages.

Basic Requirements:

• Knowledge of hydraulics, welding, and cutting is a plus.
• A solid understanding of electricity is a must.
• Troubleshooting various malfunctions is a challenge for the ideal candidate.
• Preferably, some initial work experience as a laborer and a flexible mindset.
• Willingness to perform physically demanding and dirty work (but done calmly rather than hastily).
• No fear of confined spaces (claustrophobia).
• Fluent in Dutch (additional languages are a plus); if you can communicate well in English, German, or French, you may also qualify.
• Flexibility regarding location and work schedule.

Additional Information:

• You will primarily work within the country, but also regularly in Belgium’s neighboring countries (NL, DE, etc.).
• You will stay on-site from Monday to Friday. During weekends, you return home (you also receive a daily allowance for accommodation).
• You will not work every week of the year; there will be both busy periods (when execution takes place) and quieter periods.
• A driver’s license is not required.
