Purchasing & Sourcing Manager

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing & Operations

Sourcing Strategy: Develop and execute procurement strategies across the Zele, Roncq, and Nivelles facilities to meet financial and operational goals.

Vendor Management: Negotiate contracts and manage supplier performance to ensure optimal quality, delivery, and cost-efficiency.

Alignment & Risk Mitigation: Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Operations/Supply Chain) to align purchasing with production needs and proactively mitigate supply chain risks.

Leadership & People Management

Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and empower a regional team of buyers, fostering a culture of open communication and psychological safety.

Change & Performance: Guide the team through organizational changes by setting clear expectations and providing regular feedback.

Compliance & Inclusion: Act as a role model for inclusive leadership while strictly enforcing HR policies and the corporate Code of Ethics.

Qualifications and Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven track record (5+ years) in a strategic purchasing/sourcing management role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated experience in managing and developing multi-site or international teams.
• Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with a high degree of emotional intelligence and conflict-resolution abilities.
• A firm commitment to ethical business practices and corporate compliance.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Dutch and French is highly preferred given the locations of the teams.
• Willingness to travel regularly between the Zele, Roncq, and Nivelles sites.
