Computer Futures - Data Scientist

As a Data Scientist, you will be part of a global team supporting the development and manufacturing of innovative biologic medicines. Leveraging advanced statistics and data science, you will help optimize processes, drive scientific decision-making, and generate actionable insights from complex datasets. You will collaborate closely with experts across Manufacturing, Process Development, and Analytical Sciences to support both operational excellence and innovation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide statistical and data science support for process optimization, validation, monitoring, and investigations.
• Collect, structure, analyze, and interpret complex datasets to deliver meaningful business and scientific insights.
• Design and execute experimental studies (Doe) to support data-driven decision-making.
• Translate analytical findings into clear recommendations for technical and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Contribute to protocols, reports, and technical documentation with significant statistical content.
• Act as a subject matter expert in statistics and data science, providing guidance across multiple functions.
• Ensure data integrity, reliability, and compliance within a regulated environment.
• Support digital transformation and advanced analytics initiatives across manufacturing operations.

• Master's degree or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related scientific discipline.
• Experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industry.
• Strong expertise in statistical methodologies and modern data science techniques.
• Experience with biologics development, manufacturing processes, or process development is an asset.
• Familiarity with GMP environments and regulatory requirements is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Fluent in English knowledge of Dutch is considered a plus.
