Accounting intern @ Heimwee

HEIMWEE is looking for accounting interns for their 3 brands:

• MXDVS
• Objects by Max Reynders
• Garments by Max Reynders

We work across clothing and furniture. As a small, hands-on team, everyone's work has a direct impact on how our brands look, feel, and grow.

We're looking for an Accounting Intern to join us on-site and support the financial backbone behind our three brands. You'll get hands-on exposure to how a multi-brand company manages its books, invoices, and reporting, working closely with the team responsible for keeping Heimwee's finances accurate and on track.

What you'll do

• Help process purchase and sales invoices across our three brands
• Support bank reconciliations and follow-up on outstanding payments
• Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly reports for management
• Help maintain accurate records in our accounting software
• Support VAT filings and other administrative/compliance tasks
• Assist with cost tracking per brand to help the team understand margins and performance
• Work with colleagues across operations and marketing to gather the financial info they need

What we're looking for

• Currently studying accounting, finance, business economics, or a related field
• Comfortable working with numbers and an eye for detail and accuracy
• Basic knowledge of Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus
• Organized, discreet, and reliable when handling sensitive financial information
• Fluent in English
