Trade Marketing Assistant - Internship September 2026 M/W/X

Key Responsibilities

As a Trade Marketing Intern, you will assist the Trade Marketing Specialist by contributing to the implementation of the trade marketing strategy.

Strategic Marketing

• Support the development of international marketing strategies through market research, competitive analysis and benchmarking.
• Contribute to the implementation of global marketing and trade marketing initiatives across key markets.
• Prepare compelling marketing presentations for internal meetings, distributors and retail partners.
• Assist in the analysis of campaign performance and provide recommendations for future activations.

Trade Marketing

• Assist in the creation and development of sales and marketing tools (brochures, catalogs, POS materials, posters, etc.).
• Provide day-to-day marketing support to the brand's agents, distributors, and retail partners.
• Coordinate POS (Point of Sale) material orders with suppliers and oversee their distribution.
• Assist in the development and implementation of merchandising and window display concepts across the brand's stores.
• Create and distribute newsletters to the sales teams, ensuring regular communication on product launches, campaigns, and trade marketing initiatives.
• Develop trade marketing assets for department store activations and retail campaigns in collaboration with internal teams.
• Support the continuous improvement and update of Visual Merchandising guidelines to ensure brand consistency across all markets.
• Support the continuous improvement and update of Training Books to ensure brand consistency across all markets.
• Assist in the coordination and execution of trade marketing campaigns with key retail partners.
• Monitor the implementation of in-store activations and provide feedback to optimize execution.
• Liaise with internal departments (Marketing, Sales, Retail, Creative and Logistics) to ensure smooth execution of trade marketing projects.

Budget

• Assist in monitoring and tracking the marketing budget.
• Support the follow-up of marketing expenses.
• Ensure accurate budget tracking and maintain up-to-date reporting tools.

Desired Profile

• Education: Student in marketing, communication, international business, project management, or a similar field.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in presentation tools (PowerPoint, Canva, etc.) and market analysis tools (benchmarking, insights research, competitive analysis) & Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Personal Qualities: Creative, meticulous, independent, proactive with a strong ability to manage different projects at the same time. Organisation is key.
• Languages: Proficiency in English and French (excellent spelling and grammar). Dutch is a plus.
• Sensitivity: Interest in fashion, luxury, or design.
• Additional: A car is preferred, as the offices are located 15 km outside of Brussels. (Wavre)
